Evansville Coffee Shop Closing After 24 Years in Business

If you are used to getting your caffeine fix or maybe a fresh breakfast or dessert on Evansville's East side, you'll have to find a new spot. According to their Facebook page, Planters Cafe & Coffee Bar is closing.

Planters maintained great online reviews, with an average of 4.8 on Facebook. The coffee shop also featured local artists and musicians.

Planters Cafe & Coffee Bar started in Henderson, Kentucky as Planters Coffeehouse in 1994, and quickly evolved into a full service cafe.
In 2018, Planters moved from Henderson to Evansville, IN continuing to bring the Tri-State the famous Chicken Salad, fresh roasted coffee and made-from-scratch favorites.
