It's a new year, and with a new year we start seeing people talk about resolutions and of course all the "new year, new me" posts.  While these posts get old, and I'm personally not too big on new years resolutions, I don't think making it a point to try and eat healthier is necessarily a bad thing.

One thing you may not know about me, is aside from being on the radio, one of my favorite hobbies is powerlifting.  I've even competed in powerlifting meets in the past.  While it started as a way for me to lose weight, powerlifting has given me a respect for my body I didn't know I could have.  It's made me go from worrying about shrinking my body to a way for me to push limits and see what my body can do.  While right now my main focus is just building strength in general, I've found that I feel better when I have decent eating habits.  So I like to meal prep my lunches for the week so I can have something delicious, reasonably healthy, and easy to grab and go with.
