Residents will have an opportunity to learn about the services offered by Bank on Evansville at the Traveling City Hall meeting Wednesday, November 20, from 5:30pm-7pm at Bosse High School, located at 1300 Washington Ave.

Mayor Lloyd Winnecke will open the session and introduce department heads and elected officials at the meeting. Old National Bank Financial Empowerment Officer Ben Joergens will present a 15-minute program explaining the purpose of Bank on Evansville, the high cost of payday lending services, and how Bank on Evansville addresses challenges faced by low to moderate income households.

After the presentation the public is encouraged to talk one-on-one with Mayor Winnecke, and city and county leaders about specific issues or about the general status of our community. Representatives of Bank on Evansville will also be available to answer questions.

Traveling City Hall meetings are usually held on the last Wednesday of each month at a different location in neighborhoods throughout the city. All city residents are welcome to attend any session.
