Another day, another lane closed in Evansville!  I get it though, it means Evansville is growing, expanding, and updating, which is good! But it seems like between the Lloyd and Downtown I'm always having to take another route to work. Now Hwy 41 will have some lane closures too!

According to INDOT:

The Indiana Department of Transportation announces lane closures on U.S. 41 in Evansville.

Beginning on or around Monday July 15, INDOT Contractors will begin a concrete repair operation On U.S. 41 between Virginia Street and Lynch Road. During the project, workers will patch areas of concrete that sustained damage over the winter months. Open lanes will be restricted to 12 feet, though with prior notice, contractors can accommodate wider loads. Restrictions will be intermittent in all lanes both north and southbound.

Operations are scheduled to end at the beginning of October dependent upon weather. Rain and other poor conditions could cause delays.

INDOT urges drivers to slow down and stay alert near crews

I guess what we can all try and learn from this is, take your time, be patient, and leave early for anywhere you have to be.
