Have you ever wanted to say, "Passengers, this is your Captain speaking'? Well, here's your chance to 'Take flight' in a new career.

There is currently a shortage of commercial pilots in the United States. There are several reasons for this, according to Owensboro - Daviess County Regional Airport.  42% of current pilots will retire in the next 10 years, and pilots must retire at age 65. More hours and more money is now required for training. Commercial pilots used to only need  250 hours of training, and now that number is 1,500 hours. Since the required hours have gone up, the cost of training is now $50,000 more. If you are accepted into the program, you can apply  for a line of credit, which is structured to finance the training.

If flying has always been your passion, the time and money will be worth it. You'll find more information about the program and benefits from various airlines HERE.
