Middle Springs Farm Opens Its Stunning Poppy Fields Soon
These Gorgeous Poppy Fields Near Kentucky Are Opening This Weekend
If your camera roll has been looking a little boring lately, this might be the perfect spring road trip. I actually just texted a friend of mine and said I need more photos for the month of May and what better way than a beautiful field of flowers.
The gorgeous poppy fields at Middle Springs Farm are officially opening for the season starting this weekend and honestly, the pictures look like something straight out of a movie scene. The farm is located in Paris which is about 30 minutes from Lexington and around 90 minutes from both Louisville and Cincinnati. If your from Evansville it's a little bit of a road trip but that might be perfect for a beautiful day in the summer.
Here’s When The Fields Open
The poppy fields will be open the weekend of May 16-17, May 22, and May 30-31.
Friday and Saturday hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday hours are noon to 5 p.m.
The farm’s big Poppy Festival also happens Memorial Day Weekend from May 23 through May 25 with activities running daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
It’s More Than Just Flowers
Admission is $9.95 and includes access to the flower fields, hayrides, animal areas, play areas, and more farm fun. It really is a fun family spot and the photoshoot opportunities won't dissapoint.
You can also pay extra for u-pick flowers, snacks, goat feed, and honestly, those mini donuts alone may be worth the drive.
This feels like one of those places where you plan to stop by for an hour and somehow end up staying all afternoon.
They’re Also Giving Away Free Tickets
The farm is currently running a giveaway for poppy season and one lucky winner will get three free tickets, a free u-pick flower vase, plus either six mini donuts or soft pretzel bites.
