Clean Evansville Trash Pick-up Targets Second Ward

Members of the University of Evansville Men’s Basketball Team and the Evansville IceMen hockey team staff will be among approximately 150 volunteers picking-up trash on the city’s South East Side this Saturday. The event is from 8am-9:30am and is part of Mayor Lloyd Winnecke’s Clean Evansville initiative. Teams will gather at Lorraine Park, 2399 Adams Ave., at 9:45 a.m. for a wrap-up ceremony to see how much trash they have collected.
