It is officially starting to be one of the best times of the year.  March Madness will kick off this Sunday with “Selection Sunday”.  I am so glad that there is actually going to be a tournament this year.  What I’m not so psyched about is the fact the city of Evansville apparently has a terrible reputation when it comes to college basketball.

A recent study was done by the folks at WalletHub to see what cities do it best for college basketball fans.  Eville did not do so hot.  The city ended up ranking 284th out of the 291 cities.  Uh, what?  The study took into account a few different things.  “They range from the number of teams per city and the winning percentage of each to stadium capacity and social-media engagement.” If I know this area like I think I do, I know we can do better.  So, without further ado, here are a few suggestions I think would help Evansville gain some college basketball credibility.
