Just when you thought it was safe to go inside your local grocery store, cafe, a restaurant without being brought to the verge of pumpkin spice insanity, this one is really, really bizarre and maybe wrong?

I honestly thought this was fake news or something from The Onion, it's not. Coming soon, Pumpkin Spice Spam. I had to sit down.

First of all, Spam is NOT the most popular grocery item. No, I get it, if you are from a generation of the past, you know Spam and its knock-off, Treet very well. It's a regular staple in Hawaii, yes they serve Spam at McDonald's in our 50th state. It's clear I've never been a fan, but why a pumpkin spice version?

Do I love other pumpkin-related seasonal products? Of course. The sweet far outweighs the savory. Now that I think of it, Pumpkin Spice Spam may have a certain glazed ham flavor? I don't plan on finding out. By the way, it will be available beginning September 23rd.

So is Pumpkin Spice Spam literally the weirdest seasonal idea and product yet? Let me know.
