More Traffic Restrictions Coming to Downtown Evansville

With all of the additions coming to Downtown Evansville, there is a lot of contruction happening and with it, comes road closures and traffic restrictions. According to a post from Evansville Mayor, Lloyd Winnecke, we ca expect restrictions to the northbound lane of 2nd Street, between Cherry & Chestnut, now through August 2019. The restrictions are part of the construction of the Hyatt Place Hotel. You are encouraged to watch your speed closely in the area as well.
