Central Library in Evansville Hosting Meet Your Legislators on Saturday
If you've been looking for an opportunity to speak face-to-face with the individuals that represent you in both local and state government, Central Library in downtown Evansville is giving you that chance this Saturday morning during their annual Meet Your Legislators forum.
The two hour meet-and-greet, question and answer session will take place in Browning Rooms A and B on the back side of library off Chestnut Street from 9:15 until 11:30 a.m.
Construction of the new Double Tree Hotel has shut down a number of roads around the library, however the easiest access comes from heading west on Walnut Street from Heidelbach Avenue, turning left on Southeast 9th Street, then right on Chestnut.
According to a library representative, Senator Vaneta Becker. Senator Jim Tomes, and Representative Ryan Hatfield are confirmed to appear.
