$2,500 Reward Offered for the Return of Missing Evansville Teen Aleah Beckerle
It's been nearly five days since 19-year-old special needs teenager, Aleah Beckerle went missing near her home on Iowa Street in Evansville. As the community rallies together to search for her, a $2,500 reward has been introduced in an effort to encourage more residents to jump in and help.
The Facebook page, Bring Aleah Home, which was created on Tuesday to help facilitate search parties and share information, posted a flyer Wednesday evening with a description of Aleah, and the offer of $1,000 for her return.
The remaining $1,500 dollars arrived at the intersection of Garvin and Iowa Streets late Thursday morning when an Good Samaritan dropped off a check to organizers of a search party in the area.
While there's still no clues as to Aleah's whereabouts, authorities inspected a home on Second Street that caught fire on Sunday after receiving an anonymous tip. A K-9 search team inspected house and determined there was no evidence Aleah was ever present in the home.
If you have any information regarding Aleah's whereabouts, call 911 immediately, or contact the Evansville Police Deparment at 812-436-7979, or use the Vanderburgh County Prosecutor’s anonymous WeTip at 1-800-78-CRIME (27463).
