Scientists in China have genetically modified a batch of cows so that they can now produce human breast milk opposed to regular cow's milk. The researchers at the Agricultural University in Beijing did so by injecting the human gene that makes milk into 300 bovine embryos.

Though safety tests are still being conducted, those who have had a taste say the new milk is sweeter and stronger than cow's milk and contains the properties of human breast milk.

Scientists involved with this project and others that involve genetic modification believe it's a valid way to provide food to those without.
