When I saw this, I literally laughed out loud while saying "Only in Evansville!" Evansville Watch posted last night about a caller who reported seeing a bright light flashing in her window along with loud banging. I am assuming that she was frightened by this, as anyone would be. However, this is where the story gets interesting.

Once police showed up and observed the area, they determined that the noise and lights were merely thunder and lightening...you can't make this up. I'm not judging at all here, but thunder and lightening has a very distinctive sound and look to it, am I right? In the words of Queen, "Thunderbolts and lightening, very very frightening..." in Evansville!

I mean it is better safe than sorry as you never really know these days. So good for her on taking initiative in the event that it were someone trying to break in. However, it's hard not to insert your face into your palm after reading this...
