Over 200 youth softball teams from across Indiana, Kentucky, and Illinois, along with some from as far away as Michigan, Ohio, and Missouri, will compete at Deaconess Sports Park on North Green River Road beginning Monday, July 18th when the National Softball Association brings their Fast Pitch 'B' Softball World Series to Evansville.

The week-long event will kick off with Opening Day Celebrations on July 18th from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Sports Park, and will include a Team Skills Fun Day with players competing in events such as Fastest Touch 'Em All, Outfield Accuracy, Around the Horn, and a Three-Legged Race. A parade and block party will follow later in the evening at the Ford Center with a DJ, multiple food vendors, and games including hamster balls, cornhole, a bungee run, obstacle inflatable, pitch burst, and more.

Games will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 19th and run throughout the day with teams ranging from 8U to 18U competing at Deaconess Sports Park, as well as Vann Road Park in Newburgh, and Jack C. Fishers and Panther Creek Parks in Owensboro.
