Hoosiers with unused prescription drugs lingering around in the old medicine cabinet will have an opportunity to dispose of those pharmaceuticals this Saturday at the Indiana State Police post.

As part of the sixth annual “Prescription Drug Take Back” program, the federal Drug Enforcement Agency is sponsoring this nationwide event to help prevent drug abuse and theft.

People with unwanted prescription medication that is either expired or unused can bring them to any Indiana State Police post for proper disposal on Saturday April 27 from 10am until 2pm.
