Casino Aztar Bridge Construction Continues

As a guy who lives on the northwest part of town and works downtown, Riverside Drive is usually a quick and easy way to get to and from work...especially since I'm now able to turn left onto Walnut off of Riverside. But lately, Riverside has been anything but quick and easy.

A portion of Riverside Drive has been closed for several weeks now as crews continue construction on a Casino Aztar pedestrian bridge. This 2nd bridge will allow patrons access to The District and Le Merigot without having to cross Riverside Drive.

Crews were hoping to have the project finished by New Year's Eve, but recent inclement weather has pushed things back.
