Only in Evansville will you hear about a convenience store being robbed but the thieves only stealing e-cigs. Normally, when someone robs a business, they steal...you know...cash. But I guess in this case, e-cigs were more valuable.

Now, these bandits didn't just steal a couple of e-cigs, they actually stole  nearly $1,000 worth of them! It happened around 4 a.m. Sunday at the Circle K at Highway 41 and Petersburg Rd.

According to our media partners, Eyewitness News, two men wearing hoodies and bandannas entered the store waving a knife. They stole nearly $1,000 worth of e-cigarettes and fled the scene. A K9 team from the Evansville Police Department tracked the suspects but was unable to locate them. Police are asking for anyone who might have information on the suspects to contact the Vanderburgh County Sheriff's Office, the Evansville Police Department, or anonymously at the WeTip hotline at 1-800-78-CRIME.
