Irish Pub Heading to Evansville

If you're a fan of the cozy feel of an Irish pub, there's good news! One is slated to open in downtown Evansville in 2023.   Hartigan's Irish Pub will be locally owned by three current business owners in the Evansville area, and they plan to make the Irish pub experience as authentic as possible.

Hartigan's Irish Pub Slated to Open Next Fall

Hartigan's Irish pub is the brainchild of Joshua Pietrowski, Scott Schymik, and Alan Braun.  They are wanting to not only bring an Irish pub with craft beer, and delicious food to downtown Evansville, they want it to really feel like you're stepping into an Irish pub. They are planning to make it as authentic as possible.

Here is what Joshua Pietrowski said on Facebook when announcing the plans for Hartigan's Irish Pub:

Wait! Santa’s got one more gift at the bottom of that big, red, velvet bag!
This coming Fall my good buddies Scott, Alan, and I will be opening an Irish Pub on Main Street, in the Strouse’s building next to the Peephole Bar & Grill.
Our plan is to forego the typical Americanized Irish Pub concepts found in many big cities, and to open what we hope will feel like an authentic Irish experience to you and yours the moment you cross our threshold.
We will feature a genuine Irish and English menu, including favorites like Bangers and Mash, a Full Irish Breakfast served all day, mixed with a few American favorites…delicious pub burgers, and ribeye and walleye dinner mains, as well as weekend brunch service. The plan is to host at least twenty taps featuring European standards, local Craft pints, and everything in between.
We look forward to serving the downtown lunch crowd, providing a great option for drinks and dinner before and after downtown events, making a place for our early morning European and International soccer fans, and prioritizing Notre Dame football every Fall.
Scott, Alan, and I look forward to working with our neighbors and long time friends at the Peephole, and all of the other local businesses and restaurants downtown as we bring our food and bev experience from Haynie’s Corner and Jacobsville to Main Street.
We’ve got quite a bit of work to do, and other ideas for the space up our sleeve that we aren’t ready to talk about yet, but for now I’ll make sure to let you know when our social media is up so that you can all follow our progress.
Give her a share, and nollaig shona dhuit!
I am really looking forward to giving Hartigan's a try, and can't wait to see what these three bring to downtown Evansville!
