The Country Music Association revealed its 2019 CMA Awards nominees on Wednesday morning (Aug. 28). Nominations in the annual event's 12 categories were announced both on television and online, with Jimmie AllenAshley McBryde, Morgan Wallen and Midland assisting in the process.

McBryde, Wallen and Midland all earned 2019 CMA Awards nominations themselves, in the New Artist of the Year category, while Midland received a Vocal Group of the Year nod as well. Maren Morris and Dan + Shay are among the year's most-nominated acts, while Carrie Underwood is nominated for Entertainer of the Year after two years without a woman in that category. A complete list of 2019 CMA Awards categories is below.

The 2019 CMA Awards are set for Nov. 13 at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena; the ceremony will be broadcast live on ABC beginning at 8PM ET. Carrie Underwood is returning to co-host the event for the 12th consecutive year, with Reba McEntire and Dolly Parton as her guest co-hosts.

The 2019 CMA Awards will find the CMA celebrating country music's legendary female figures, according to a press release, but details as to those plans have yet to be revealed. Performers, presenters and other details of the big night are also still to be announced.
