What Rules are Staying the Same?

All hospital visitors will still be required to check-in upon arriving at a member facility and a screening for Covid-19 exposure and/or symptoms will still be required like current guidelines dictate. Visitors will also still be required to wear a mask while inside area hospitals for the "foreseeable future."

There Are Some Exceptions

Hospitals will be allowed to use their own discretion regarding visitor guidelines for some hospital services.

Coalition member hospitals may opt to maintain current restrictions for outpatient and emergency departments, obstetric patients, NICU and pediatric patients, and adult inpatients diagnosed with COVID-19; hospitals may also make exceptions for end-of-life visitation.
