Monte Skelton Kicks Off Library’s Free ‘Jazz In the Park’ Series

Hey cool cats! Bebop on down to the library for a new series of free shows. Jazz In The Park begins tonight (April 16th) and will continue every other Tuesday through May on the lawn of the EVPL's East Branch (840 E. Chandler Ave).

Jazz in the Park is the first music series held at EVPL East. The series was developed after an expressed interest from the neighborhood for a music or performance experience.

The concerts will take place on Tuesday evenings, from 6pm-7pm. Here's the schedule of performers.

• Apr. 16: Monte Skelton
• Apr. 30: BG3
• May 14: Shawn Needham
• May 28: Wade Baker Duo

Jazz in the Park is free and open to the public and is made possible by the generous contribution of the Mesker Music Trust administered by Fifth Third Bank.
