ITV Offering Assistance to Pet Owners Impacted By Government Shutdown
An Evansville animal rescue is offering support to pet owners that are government employees impacted by the shutdown who may need assistance providing for their pets. According to a Facebook post from It Takes a Village No-Kill Rescue, if you are affected by the shutdown and need assistance you can reach out to the rescue via email or phone at info@itvrescue.org and 812-909-1306. They are currently offering assistance with providing food for the animals impacted and, resources allowing, other assistance as well. They are also asking for those non-federal employees that would like to help, to please consider dropping off a donation of dog or cat food to the rescue center located on Stockwell Road in Evansville.
