Historic Newburgh Farmers Market Hosting Chalk Art Contest June 9th

The Historic Newburgh Famers Market will host the 3rd Annual Chalk Art Contest this Saturday, June 9th.  Children, youth and adults can enter to win some great prizes!

Registration begins at 8 am at the registration tent located along the rivertown trail across from the market.  The contest will be held from 9 am - 11 am.  Awards will be given at 11 am in the following categories:

• Child  (ages 5 - 9) -  Little Tikes Playhouse
• Youth (ages 10 - 17) - $100 Visa gift card
• Adult - $100 Visa gift card

Stop by the market from 8 am - noon located at the Edgewater Grille parking lot at the corner of State & Water Streets, directly behind Cleo's Bakery.

As in past years, the market will offer local produce, meats, baked goods, desserts, jams and jellies, flowers, jewelry, handmade soaps, and this week you can purchase fresh garlic and basil, turkey eggs, duck eggs, and chicken eggs and much more!

Bring the kids to the POP Club tent from 9 am - 11 am for fun activities, live entertainment, and don't miss a cooking demonstration with Roger Winstead from Beautiful Edibles.

Come early for a free hour of yoga with Livewell featuring Flex 151 instructors from 8 am - 9 am.   They'll be located in the grassy area on the east side of the condos overlooking the Ohio River.  Please bring your own mat or towel.
