Full disclosure I am a Bears fan, but this isn't about some petty rivalry, this is about protecting children.

You might not be aware of it, but the Green Bay Packers and The Chicago Bears played an NFL game Sunday night that was broadcast nationally on NBC.

The Bears happened to lose that game but that isn't what we're here to talk about.

We're also not here to talk about the atrocious (objectively) officiating that went against Chicago basically every time it could.

This isn't about me literally watching the same Bears-Packers football game for the 50th time in my life. The game where the Bears seemed to be playing a different game than the Packers. The game where the Bears had a glimmer of hope only to have it extinguished by a man named either Aaron or Brett.

This isn't about how Justin Fields, the prodigal son, the one that would take the Bears to Valhalla, said that fans don't feel a loss as bad as the Packers.

(This is one of the most tone deaf things I've ever heard a Chicago athlete say)

It's pretty much the exact opposite of this quote by Aaron Rodgers after the game.

That's a guy that understands what this means to fans.

No this is about a touchdown "celebration" that the entire Packers team broke out in the 2nd quarter as they were pulling away with, what seems like, their 300th victory in a row over the Bears.

This one.

It might look like they're simply having a tea party in the end zone, but it's much more sinister than that.

This was a group of professional football players cosplaying one of the most potent drugs known to man: Ayahuasca.

You might not be familiar with ayahuasca, but that's probably because you're a decent person. Ayahuasca is a powerful, mind-altering drug that was famously taken by none other than Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers over the offseason.

Drinking a ayahuasca tea is the preferred method to achieve its "high," and that's exactly what the Packers were imitating in the end zone celebration.

This is the same league that has suspended players for years because of marijuana use, they cannot sit aside and watch this celebration of drug culture without taking any action.

Would the league be silent if an entire team pretended to roll blunts and pass them around a circle for a celebration? No way. Roger Goodell would have those guys in rehab before you could say "Deflategate."

The hypocrisy is astounding.

Maybe the Ginger Hammer is reviewing the tape right now and devising his punishment, but judging how the league already will let the Packers do whatever they want on the football field with no repercussions, I won't be holding my breath.

Think of the kids Rodger and do the right thing, kick that long haired hippie out of the league.

It's fair to say that there has been a difference in quality at the most important position in sports for these two historic franchises.
