Evansville Rescue Needs Hospice Home for Bonded Senior Dogs
Chelsea and Champ are two sweet senior dogs at 14 & 15 years old, who need a "fospice" home, someone to foster them for the remainder of their time.
These sweet pups (all dogs are puppies) are a bonded pair that have been together for many years. Due to no fault of their own, their owner cannot keep them anymore. Buddy's Promise-Furever Home are helping out by looking for a very special kind of foster. They've dubbed it, the "fospice." Basically these two seniors are too old to get adopted at 14 & 15 years old, but they still deserve to have a comfy couch to lay on for the rest of their time. So they're asking if anyone can step up and foster them, as a form of hospice care.
Here's the good news, if you have the space and time for them, Buddy's Promise will take care of the rest. Their food and vet bills are covered. Do you have room and time for Chelsea and Champ? Buddy's Promise asks that you email them and they will send you a foster application firstname.lastname@example.org.
For what it's worth, I had a lab who lived to be 10 (which is pretty old for a big dog) and I will tell you, there is nothing sweeter or more loving than a senior dog.
