The Evansville Mayor's Office, along with the Evansville Police Department, Vanderburgh County Sheriff's and Prosecutor's Office, the Evansville-Vanderburgh School Corporation, and the Evansville Catholic Dioceses officially launched their joint, "Choose Not to Lose" campaign at Eastland Mall on Monday with the primary focus on seven brand new Jeeps that will be used at each area high school.

Choose Not to Lose is a multi-phased campaign aimed at improving and expanding existing programs such as DARE, and the Officer Friendly Program which encourage kids to choose their own path and make positive choices in their lives, including graduating from high school.

The Jeep reveal on Monday is phase one, with a summer camp, and summer basketball league rounding out the remainder of the ongoing campaign.

*Please note, this video was shot with a smartphone. We are a radio station after all. My apologies if the audio is difficult to hear at times.

The vehicles were donated by Larry Bennett, owner of Bennett Motors on Diamond Avenue in Evansville, and Audubon Chrysler Center in Henderson. Outside of their use at each high school, the Jeeps will also be on display at various community events such as the Shriner Fest, 4-H Fair, car shows, and parades.
