The sport of Lacrosse has picked up quite a bit of steam in the Tri-State over the past few years, with several area high schools offering students the opportunity to play through school-based clubs. However, the sport has yet to be a recognized sport by the EVSC leaving teams, players' families, and coaches no other choice but to cover the cost for equipment and other essentials out of their own pockets.

The Bosse Bulldogs Girls Lacrosse team, the reigning 2017 City Champions, is one of those teams. In a letter to potential sponsors, Coach Kenny Benoit, states the team is looking for both corporate and individual sponsors to help cover the costs of new equipment including uniforms, as well as "playing field rental fees, referee compensation, and associated team expenses."

In exchange for donations, sponsors will have their name "posted on various advertisements with acknowledgement and thanks."

With several colleges and universities offering Lacrosse programs, as well as scholarships for players, a donation to the Lady Bulldogs would not only help the team in the immediate future, but could also help them for years to come.

If you or someone you know owns a business that is interested in donating, or you yourself would like to make a contribution, download the sponsorship form to learn more about the various sponsorship levels, and make a donation.

If you have any questions, e-mail the team at bossegirlslax@gmail.com.
