‘Thor 2′ Clip: It’s Brotherly Love as Thor Tries to Fly a Ship
What would 'Thor: The Dark World' be without some playful back-and-forth between Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston? In case you forgot the brotherly love these two share on screen, Marvel has released the latest 'Thor 2' clip to show off one of the more comedic moments between the two.
See, Asgardian superbeings are just like us!
In this latest look at 'Thor: The Dark World,' coming courtesy of Moviefone, Loki (Hiddleston) takes a back seat to his lightning-wielding brother (Hemsworth) as they try to maneuver an enemy spaceship that looks just like something from 'Star Trek Into Darkness' ('Thor Into Darkness,' anyone?). And, as Loki does when he's forced to keep still, he can't shut his mouth.
'Thor: The Dark World' recently held its world premiere in the UK this past Tuesday, and the first batch of reviews started pouring out. While critics were generally split down the middle, most praised the film's comedic infusion, with some even claiming it was one of the few redeeming qualities. You'll have to cast your own judgements on 'Thor 2' when it hits US theaters November 8. But until then, preview some the comedy and action in the clip above.
'Thor: The Dark World' reunites Thor with Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), his trickster brother Loki, his father Odin (Anthony Hopkins), and Sif (Jaimie Alexander) and the Warriors Three (Ray Stevenson as Volstagg, Tadanobu Asano as Hogun, and the newly cast Zachary Levi as Fandral) to take on an ancient threat. Malekith the Accursed (Christopher Eccleston) and his army of Dark Elves have returned to plunge the universe into darkness. 'Game of Thrones' vet Alan Taylor directed the film.
