Drive Means Drive

This could have and probably should have been tragic. A suspected impaired driver ran into a truck and it almost immediately explodes, but all miraculously survive. This entire incident was captured by a traffic camera.

We were told decades ago that we'd eventually have flying cars. Pretty sure those futurists didn't envision it happening like this. A Midwest security cam shows a car going airborne and flying into a family's tree. Fortunately, no one was seriously injured.

You never want to see a vehicle on fire as you're driving down the interstate. Even more precarious when it's a car carrier aflame with multiple vehicles burning, too. One driver shared video of what happened when he drove by a scene like this only to have a tire explode and nearly take him out also.

It's a good thing this Missouri truck driver was paying attention. He just shared video of a near miss he had with a wrong way driver near Nevada, Missouri.

The one thing you don't expect when you're driving to work is to be attacked by the highway. That's what happened to one Missouri man who had his windshield annihilated by falling concrete from an overpass.

My dad always taught me when roads are slick, assume oncoming traffic may come right at you. That has saved me more than once. A Midwestern mom showed quick thinking in a similar situation that likely saved her family's lives and that of the other driver, too.

It's a little sad that people need to be rewarded just for doing what they should be doing already. But, as distracted driving becomes more of a life and death problem, it's a good thing that a new app rewards people for not messing with their phone when they're behind the wheel.
