‘Star Wars: The Clone Wars’ Final Season Sneak Peek: Yoda Recruits Anakin for the “Lost Missions”

Given all the hype surrounding 'Star Wars Rebels,' several weeks ago brought the welcome news that 'Star Wars: The Clone Wars' would premiere its sixth and final season (dubbed the "Lost Missions" and produced before cancellation) entirely on Netflix. The first lengthy clip of the new installments has arrived, as Master Yoda recruits Anakin's help for a special mission!

The clip in question sees Yoda hospitalized at the Jedi temple and mysteriously kept under guard, as the wizened Jedi master enlists Anakin's natural knack for troublemaking to help him sneak out of the temple and to undertake a vital mission. Might this be how we see the backwards-speaking master discover his future home on Dagobah, or perhaps the lost answers to the mystery of Sifo-Dyas?

Here’s how Netflix describes the final season of ‘Star Wars: The Clone Wars’:

The season follows a rift in the Force caused by Ahsoka Tano’s departure from the Jedi Order and the growing menace of various Sith Lords and apprentices throughout the galaxy. Some of the deepest mysteries of the conflict between the light and the dark sides of the Force are revealed. An intrepid clone trooper discovers a shocking secret, Anakin Skywalker’s closest relationship is tested to its limits and what Master Yoda discovers while investigating the disappearance of a Jedi could forever change the balance of power in the galaxy.

One sequence we’ve glimpsed before saw Plo Koon (James Arnold Taylor) in a previously unknown arc discovering a discarded lightsaber on a desolate world. Another completed sequence showed the beginnings of “Order 66,” as a clone trooper suddenly became confused and turned on his Jedi commander.
