Shaped by Faith guest, Dana Peveler is the Executive Director of the Senior Community Center in Owensboro, KY. She says the Senior Center is the best kept secret in our community. There are so many things to do at the Center for people age 60 years and older.

The Senior Community Center offers an extended amount of services such as; Meals on Wheels to the home bound, lunch served everyday at the Senior Center for anyone, physical fitness classes such as; Yoga, Zumba Gold, Chair Exercise, Line Dancing, Monthly Dances. They also have 9 billiard tables that are always full, computer classes, card games, monthly field trips, and so much more.

The Senior Community Center serves over 1400-1500 people each year. What you may not know is they offer transportation services to anywhere you may need to go. Another valuable service they offer is counseling and this includes just about any type of counseling that a person may need.
