One of the highlights of last night's Foreigner concert happened when students from Reitz High School Choir walked on stage to help perform "I Want To Know What Love Is."

I'm soo happy that I got to attend this show as I've been been a Foreigner fan forever!  Last night's performance was amazing, to say the least. With only one original founding member, guitarist Mick Jones performing, Kelly Hansen did a great job leading us in all of our favorite Foreigner songs:  Cold As Ice, Jukebox Hero, Waiting For a Girl Like You, Dirty White Boy, Feels Like the First Time, and more.

Towards the end of the show, the band invited the audience to sing  "I Want To Know What Love Is" with some students from Reitz High School Choir joining the band onstage.  Kelly Hansen asked us to share the love by placing our arms around the person next to you.  And, so my dear friend, Sue Morrison and I obliged.  He finished by recognizing the Reitz HS Choir students and asking everyone to help keep music and the arts alive in our schools.  This was the most memorable moment of the entire show.

At one point during the show, lead singer Kelly Hansen, jumped offstage and walked through the audience.  He was very personable throughout the entire show even joking around with a couple of guys in the front row who never stood up.  But, at the very end of the show, those 2 guys did stand up and applauded the band. Thank you Foreigner for a great performance last night.
