QR Codes for Your Tombstone – There’s an App for That [Video]

It was bound to happen.  Now, even your tombstone has gone high-tech with a QR code that people can scan with their smartphones. 

Seattle based Quiring Monuments came up with the idea.  By placing a QR Code block on any tombstone - new or existing - you can link to information about your deceased loved one to create "a living memorial".  Check out their promotional video.

I don't know - do people want to know that much about me after I'm gone? I can see this being kind of cool for someone famous but the average Joe or Josephine? What do you think?
