Play Ball! Evansville Otters Open 2015 Season This Weekend at Bosse Field
With the exception of last weekend's exhibition game for Jacob's Village, it feels like forever since we last saw Otterball at Bosse Field. That all changes Friday night when the team makes their 2015 debut with a three game home stand against the Traverse City Beach Bums.
First pitch for Friday night's game is scheduled for 6:35pm with tickets available at the Bosse Field ticket window as well as online through the Otters website.
Reserved seats are $9.00, general admission is $6.00, while fans 55 years and older are admitted for only $5.00, and kids five years of age and younger are free!
Kids 12 and under can also get in free by stopping in any Old National Bank location and grabbing special kids tickets.
After coming off their best record in franchise history, this year's season is a special one for the Otters as it marks the 100th anniversary of Bosse Field, the nation's third oldest active ballpark behind Chicago's famed Wrigley Field, and Boston's Fenway Park.
Over that time, Bosse has hosted more than just baseball, as former Evansville Courier-Press columnist, Dave Johnson noted during an interview back in April.
