Due to the overwhelming response to the movie's premiere October 5th that resulted in two sold out showings, and people having to be turned away, Showplace Cinemas East has been kind enough to the let the filmmakers screen the film during a special one week engagement beginning this Sunday.

A film three years in the makingDaylight was written, produced, directed, starred in, catered by, and pretty much anything else you do on a movie by Evansville natives, and Memorial High School graduates, David McCracken and Josh Reidford. The film centers around the disappearance of three Child Protective Services workers (two of which are played by McCracken and Reidford) which may be tied to a child who is possessed by demons.

The special engagement will begin with a matinee showing at 2:15pm on Sunday, October 27th, followed by 7:30 showings Monday, October 28th through Halloween, Thursday, October 31st. All showings will take place at Showplace East on Morgan Avenue only.

Tickets are available at the door, however I recommend picking them up in advance online through Showplace Cinemas website to make sure you get them.

Dave and Josh stopped by the studio to talk about the special engagement and brought along one of the stars of the film, Kris Zinn, as well as hair and makeup artist Carol Boyles to talk about their involvement in the movie. The full interview can be heard in the player below, along with the films official trailer.
