Over 200 MILLION eggs have been recalled from an Indiana based farm over a possible salmonella contamination. According to our media partners at Eyewitness News, the recalled eggs all come from Rose Acre Farms.

The Food and Drug Administration says that at least 22 individuals have become sick from eating the eggs. According to the FDA,

The eggs were distributed from the farm in Hyde County, North Carolina and reached consumers in the following states: Colorado, Florida, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Virginia, and West Virginia through retail stores and restaurants via direct delivery.

So Hoosers are in the clear of these eggs, as they were not shipped to any Indiana stores. However,If you would like to read more about the recall, you can see the official report by clicking here.
