NICU Babies, Parents, Nurses Reunite at Owensboro Hospital

This is one reunion that you won't want to miss. This annual get together is reason to celebrate the fact that your child is alive and well. And it's a chance to reconnect with the people who took care of your sweet baby and were with you through some of the toughest times of your life.

Former NICU patients and their families met with doctors and nurses at the Owensboro Health Regional Hospital over the weekend. One of America's favorite doctors was also present - I'm talking about Dr. Seuss. The special NICU reunion had a Seussian theme this year. One particular Dr. Seuss line rings true when thinking about the kiddos who spent time in the NICU..."Today you are you, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is youer than you."

Event organizers estimate about 1,000 people attended this year's reunion.
