Mayor Winnecke is Talkin’ Hoops and the Return of the GLVC Tournament [Audio]

The Deaconess GLVC Basketball Tournament is back in Evansville and happening this weekend! Mayor Winnecke was joined by guests Doug Claybourn and Pam Hight to talk about the tourney, other event this weekend and other athletic events coming to town.

Claybourn and Hight are from the Evansville Sports Corporation which is the organization that brought the United Leasing golf tournament to town last year and helped secure the GLVC tournament this year. And we also recently learned that the Elite 8 (the NCAA Division II championship tournament) is coming back to Evansville in 2014.
