Out of all the wonderfully palate-pleasing creations Jenny cooks and bakes, this one is my very favorite!  To me every slice is a slice of heaven and once I take a bite of this pie, I always have the hardest time putting the fork down.  I'm not exaggerating when I write that I could, literally, devour a whole banana cream pie.  I don't - but I could!

Here's what you need to make this scrumptious dessert (please keep in mind that Jenny makes homemade pie crust, filling and whipped topping; however, to make it easier, I'm providing generic ingredients):

1 baked pie crust

2 packages of instant vanilla pudding

3 cups milk

3 bananas

whipped topping

Mix the instant pudding and milk, then refrigerate.  Cut up three bananas into small slices and place in pie shell.  Top with pudding and then top with whipped topping.  Refrigerate until ready to serve.

I will tell you that Jenny uses real whipping cream, a special recipe for her filling, and her pie crust recipe is closely guarded by two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels; one that will greedily fight you for it! There's good reason for that, too.  As a result, I can't write with certainty that your pie will turn out like the pie I get to eat, but I hope you enjoy it nonetheless!
