That being said, not all fast-food chains are created equal, right? Some are definitely better than others and there are quite a few that you downright avoid. So which fast food chain is the worst in the United States? Well, that's sort of subjective, but that's the question this Yahoo Finance story set out to answer. So how did Yahoo Finance determine just which fast-food chain is the worst? Here's what the article says:

"We went through multiple Reddit threads and used search terms like 'worst fast-food in the US,' 'worst fast-food chains in America,' and 'America’s worst fast-food restaurants' to find relevant threads."

What is the Worst Fast Food Chain in America?

According to Yahoo Finance, that honor goes to Long John Silvers. Indiana has the third most locations in the country with 54 restaurants.

Here's what Yahoo Finance said:

Long John Silver’s tops our list of the worst-rated fast-food restaurants in America according to Reddit. It is an American chain of fast-food restaurants that specializes in seafood. A huge number of Redditors pointed out problems with food quality at Long John Silver’s. Several Redditors labeled the chain as simply awful.

Now, I have to strongly disagree with this. Personally, I love Long John Silvers. Their fish is one of the only fish that I will actually eat. Plus, what person in their right mind doesn't enjoy eating those crumbs?! While I don't go to Long John Silver's as much as I'd like to, I have a hard time saying that it's the worst fast food chain. Give me a Fish and Shrimp Platter with fries and mac and cheese (when they have it), and I am a happy camper. Just thinking about it, makes me want to go there now!
