Indiana State Fair

The Indiana State Fair is underway in Indianapolis. Of course, with the Indiana State Fair, you can expect plenty of amusement rides, a wide array of delicious food, livestock, and free concerts.  If you've never been to the Indiana State Fair, it's definitely worth the drive to Indianapolis to go and enjoy, even if you can just make it up for the day.  The Indiana State Fair goes until August 20th, and you can catch their full schedule of events, here.

However, one Indiana State Fair event caught the attention of the internet for all of the right reasons.

Llama and Alpaca Costume Contest

When it comes to local fairs, you can expect to see plenty of livestock shows.  This one put a spin on the traditional livestock show.  Of course, you can expect to see llamas and alpacas at the state fair, but this particular livestock show also showed off the creative side of 4-H members, as they dressed their llamas and alpacas up in costume. This brought much joy to the internet as the costumes are SO creative!

WFYI in Indianapolis posted a video of the llama and alpaca costume contest to their Instagram page, and it has over 1 million views! When watching the video, it's easy to see why the video went viral.  The costumes are so creative, and both the handler and the llama are coordinated with their costumes.  The video shows several creative costumes, ranging from a box of crayons to even a tiny (and adorable) Mario and Luigi duo.

Check out the video below, I hope it brings you as much joy as it brought me!
