Hartford KY Woman Arrested For Trying To Sell Her Child
Just when you thought you've seen it all, someone in the tristate proves you wrong.
A tristate woman is behind bars after being accused of trying to sell her child. Authorities said, "34-year-old Crystal Smiley was trying to sell her child to a family member." According to our media partner, Eyewitness News, "The investigation began in September when KSP was notified by social services of the alleged incident."
Smiley is charged with Sell or Purchase of a Child for Adoption and Promoting Human Trafficking.
The investigation is ongoing.
