‘Grandportation Day’ September 13th at Evansville Museum
What do you get when you mix Grandparents Day and Transportation Day? Obviously you get 'Grandportation Day.' It's happening this Sunday at the Evansville Museum.
Come celebrate the entire family, from kids to grandparents, this Sunday, September 13th from 12pm to 4pm.
The Evansville Museum is also the last stop for The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride for prostate cancer awareness. Riders of classic motorcycles and dressed in their finest threads will be pulling into the Grandporation Day around 2pm.
GRANDPORTATION DAY will feature family favorites from both events including:
- 501st Legion: Star Wars characters
- Wesselman Nature Society with Birds of Prey
- Angel Mounds with Native American artifacts
- Tours of EMTRAC with our docent train "engineers"
- Antique and vintage cars and motorcycles
- Special model railroad exhibition
- Antique bicycles and demos
