Bernie Sanders to Hold Campaign Rally in Evansville Monday [UPDATE]

Our media partner, 44 News is reporting the rally could take place at the Old National Events Plaza where Ted Cruz and Donald Trump held their respective rallies.

14 News is reporting Senator Bernie Sanders will be present at a rally in Evansville on Monday with time and location to be determined.

ORIGINAL STORY

One local media outlet is reporting Senator Bernie Sanders plans on holding a rally somewhere in Evansville on Monday, while another is reporting he'll be here Sunday.

Eyewitness News was the first to report a possible rally by the Vermont Senator on Thursday evening saying sources informed them that the Sanders campaign was coming to town Monday with a time and location to be determined.

That was followed by a tweet from 44 News reporter, Amanda Chodnicki reporting the Democratic candidate would be here a day earlier.

According to Sanders' official website, he has a rally scheduled in South Bend at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, and one in Fort Wayne at 11:30 a.m. Eastern Monday morning, but nothing listed for Evansville at this time.
