Winnecke Running For Mayor

Current County Commissioner Lloyd Winnecke is throwing his hat in the ring for the upcoming Evansville Mayor's race. Winnecke will make his bid official during an upcoming rally to be held at Central High School's auditorium this Saturday at 11:00 AM.

Winnecke is president of the Vanderburgh County Commission and has never lost an election.

Current mayor Jonathon Weizapfel has announced that he will not seek a third term and Democrat Rick Davis has already announced his intention to run.
