VHS – Pet of the Week – Leo

Every Thursday we invite Kendall Paul from the Vanderburgh Humane Society to our studios to share a pet with you. This week she brought Leo, a three-year-old male pitbull.

 Hello...I'm Leo and I originally came here because my person didn't have enough time for me and felt I deserved better. He described me as bashful, very shy and friendly. Hmmm...I know it's a strange combination but it's a good description. I'm shy and friendly and lovable, too. In my previous home, I had free roaming privileges with no problems. I also have a history of doing well with the other animals in my home and though I didn't live with children, I did well with the ones I visited with. Then I went home with a gentleman in his 90's but after several weeks he had to return me due to his health. I'm a very gentle guy and would love a special human friend to take some walks with and share the comforts of a loving home with. If that special person might be you, I hope you'll come in and see what a what a sweetheart I am.
