FLASHDANCE – THE MUSICAL, the stage adaptation of the 1983 hit film, will perform in Evansville at Old National Events Plaza on Sunday, February 8, at 7pm. Tickets start at $28 and can be purchased at Old National Events Plaza, by visiting Ticketmaster.com, or by calling 1-800-745-3000.

Joining Karli Dinardo as Alex Owens and Adam J. Rennie as Nick Hurley are Brianna-Marie Bell as Kiki, Heidi Friese as Gloria, Danielle Marie Gonzalez as Tess, Patricia Bartlett as Hannah, Randy Charleville as C.C., Michael Kingston as Harry and Jacob Tischler as Jimmy.

Also joining the company are Andrés Acosta, Alex Aquilino, Amber Ardolino, Eduardo Carrillo, Antonio Jefferson, Emily Grace Kersey, Caitlin Lester-Sams, Katie Lombardo, Ryan J MacConnell, Ashley Munzek, Katherine Roarty, and Brandon Stonestreet.

FLASHDANCE – THE MUSICAL tells the story of Alex Owens, a Pittsburgh steel mill welder by day and a bar dancer by night with dreams of one day becoming a professional performer. When romance with her steel mill boss threatens to complicate her ambitions, Alex learns the meaning of love and its power to fuel the pursuit of her dream.

FLASHDANCE - THE MUSICAL features a score including the hit songs from the movie, all of which became Top Ten hits on the radio around the world, including the Academy Award-winning title song “Flashdance – What a Feeling,” “Maniac,” “Gloria,” “Manhunt,” and “I Love Rock ‘N’ Roll.” In addition to these hits, 16 brand new songs have been written for the stage with music by Robbie Roth and lyrics by Robert Cary and Roth.
