The second annual "Cure FA" charity game is coming up this Saturday, October 19th at 2pm at Bosse Field. The game raises money in the fight against Friedreich’s Ataxia, a degenerative neuromuscular disorder that USI Baseball Head Coach Tracy Archuleta's son, Sam, is dealing with.

You might remember last year when the Screaming Eagles baseball team took on the Indiana Hoosiers. That game raked in a whopping $40,000! Well this year the Screagles welcome the Notre Dame Fighting Irish baseball team to town. Hopefully this year's game will raise a bunch of money too. All proceeds from ticket sales will go to FARA (Friedreich’s Ataxia Research Alliance).

Tickets are still available and can be purchased at the USI Athletic Office and at all Banterra Bank locations in Evansville and Newburgh. Tickets can be bought online here.
