In a possible effort to become the Starbucks of the Evansville area with a location on seemingly every corner, CVS announces the construction of a new location on the corner of St. Joe and Delaware Street.

Traffic will be restricted to one lane in both directions on St. Joe Avenue between Diamond and Allens Lane as crews begin work to patch holes and repave the stretch of road on Evansville's west side which serves as home for Rural King, Midas Car Care, and other local businesses.

Travelers heading into or out of Evansville by way of Highway 41 North may want to explore alternate routes between now and mid-August.

A portion of Oak Hill Road, from Pigeon Creek to Lake Drive, is now closed to thru traffic due to construction on the next segment of the city’s first “Complete Street” project.

As a guy who lives on the northwest part of town and works downtown, Riverside Drive is usually a quick and easy way to get to and from work...especially since I'm now able to turn left onto Walnut off of Riverside. But lately, Riverside has been anything but quick and easy.
